Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chemical Engineer with a specialization in Process Safety to join their global team in a fully remote capacity. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust process safety management systems, conducting hazard assessments, and providing expert guidance to engineering and operational teams worldwide.

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Process Safety Management (PSM) programs.
- Conduct Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), including HAZOP, LOPA, and FMEA studies.
- Review process designs and modifications to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Investigate process safety incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Develop and deliver training on process safety principles and procedures to relevant personnel.
- Stay abreast of evolving safety regulations and industry standards, providing expert advice on their application.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in chemical engineering with a strong focus on process safety.
- In-depth knowledge of PSM elements, hazard identification techniques, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Familiarity with international safety standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, COMAH).
- Proven ability to analyze complex safety data and develop effective risk mitigation strategies.
