Tree Surveyor

Your new company An established and highly respected arboricultural consultancy with over 40 years of industry expertise is looking to recruit two Arboricultural Consultants / Tree surveyors to support the continued growth of its Midlands team. Renowned for delivering innovative tree management and planning consultancy services, the business has built a reputation as one of the leading specialist consultancies in the UK, working across planning, local authority, parkland and infrastructure projects.

Your new role Joining a team of experienced arboricultural professionals, you'll work on a diverse portfolio of projects across the Midlands and wider UK. Based from Dudley or Hereford with a hybrid working pattern including working from home. The role will involve carrying out tree surveys, producing technical reports and supporting planning and development projects.

Key responsibilities include:

Undertaking tree condition and risk surveys Conducting street tree and wider arboricultural assessments Supporting planning applications and development projects Working closely with colleagues to deliver high-quality technical outputs Contributing to innovative consultancy projects and research initiatives Support the completion of BS5837 surveys and reports What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you should have:
Proven arboricultural surveying experience Experience undertaking tree surveys and inspections Knowledge of BS5837 surveys and reporting QTRA experience - or similar Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Strong report-writing and communication skills A genuine passion for arboriculture and professional development What you'll get in return Salary between £31,000 and £39,000 depending on experience and level Hybrid home-based working arrangement Opportunity to work alongside some of the industry's leading arboricultural professionals Structured career development and clear progression opportunities.
