Senior Structural Engineer - Remote Projects

• Lead the structural design and analysis for a diverse range of projects, including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and specialized structures, often involving complex loading conditions.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations using advanced structural analysis software .
• Provide expert technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Conduct thorough reviews of designs prepared by others, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes (e.g., SANS, Eurocodes) and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, project managers, and clients across different time zones through virtual communication tools.
• Manage project deliverables, ensuring timely completion of technical documentation and adherence to project schedules and budgets in a remote setting.

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex structural projects from concept to completion.
• Expert proficiency in advanced structural analysis and design software (e.g., ETABS, SAP
  2000, SAFE, Revit Structure).
• Deep understanding of seismic design, wind engineering, and advanced concrete and steel design principles.
