About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Senior Manufacturing Engineer to drive excellence in their manufacturing operations from a distance. This role is critical for optimizing production processes, implementing new technologies, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency across multiple sites. You will collaborate closely with on-site teams, providing expert guidance and strategic direction. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to make a significant impact on manufacturing performance without the need for relocation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of advanced manufacturing strategies and process improvements.
Analyze production data to identify opportunities for efficiency gains, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
Provide technical expertise and remote support for manufacturing operations, troubleshooting complex issues.
Oversee the introduction of new manufacturing technologies and equipment, ensuring seamless integration.
Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations teams to translate product designs into manufacturable solutions.
Develop and maintain process documentation, standards, and best practices for global implementation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a significant focus on process optimization and advanced manufacturing.
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing , Six Sigma, and statistical process control (SPC).
Experience with various manufacturing technologies and automation systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Proven ability to lead and influence teams remotely and effectively communicate across different levels of an organization.
