Junior Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client is actively seeking an enthusiastic Junior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their innovative remote engineering team, based in or near Pretoria . • Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software .
• Support senior engineers in conducting design analysis, including basic stress and thermal assessments.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, documentation, and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Participate in prototype testing and data collection, documenting results accurately.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting, ensuring clear communication and task completion.
• Learn and apply industry best practices in mechanical design and manufacturing.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Foundational knowledge of mechanical design principles and practices.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as Solid Works, AutoCAD, or Inventor.
