This is a hands‑on role working closely with engineering and project teams to understand existing design information, ensure configuration accuracy and support the successful adoption of the new PLM system.
The role:- Work closely with engineers and project teams to understand existing CAD designs, engineering data and documentation.
- Support the migration and configuration of engineering information into the new PLM system.
- Ensure engineering data is accurate, structured and appropriately controlled.
- Apply configuration management principles across engineering designs, documentation and product information.
- Support the wider PLM transformation, helping establish effective processes and best practices.
- Background in Configuration Engineering, Configuration Management or CAD Design.
- Experience working with engineering drawings, CAD data and technical documentation.
- Understanding of PLM/PDM systems and engineering configuration control.
