Weare looking for:
A Qualification Engineer (gn) to join our team at our Heanor site.
Key ResponsibilitiesManagement ofshort to medium term technical projects (typically 6-18 months) involving composite and adhesive materials for the aerospace industry
Responsible for coordination of testing, analysis ofdataand compilation of technical reports.
Responsible for providing technicalexpertiseand support both internally and to major aerospace customers.
Demonstrate highproficiencycommunication skills within the team, to stakeholders, and end customers
You will bring:Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering (or a related field)
Experience in the composites or specialty polymers industry is a strong advantage
Working knowledge of base resins and reinforcement fibers
Familiarity with quality management systems(e.g.,AS9100); exposure toSPC/statistical methods and
Six Sigmais a plus
Experience with raw material processing,batch processing, and/orweb handling is a plus
You will get:The UK annual base salary rangereasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: 45.200
GBPto 56.500 GPB. Actual compensation will bedeterminedbased on factors such as skills, experience,qualification and internal equity and canultimately bemore or less than the posted salary rang
16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations.
