Our client is actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Power Electronics Engineer to join their innovative and fully remote engineering team. This role is central to the research, design, and development of cutting-edge power electronic converters and systems for advanced applications, including renewable energy integration and electric vehicles. You will lead complex design projects, contribute to technology roadmaps, and mentor other engineers in a collaborative, distributed setting.

- Lead the design, simulation, and development of high-efficiency power converters (AC-DC, DC-DC, DC-AC).
- Perform detailed thermal management and component stress analysis for power electronic circuits.
- Develop and implement control algorithms for advanced power electronic systems.
- Oversee the selection of components, including MOSFETs, IGBTs, capacitors, and inductors.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of prototypes, ensuring performance and reliability standards are met.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the company's intellectual property through patents and publications.
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Power Electronics.
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design and development.
- Expertise in simulation tools such as SPICE, MATLAB/Simulink, and PLECS.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor devices, control theory, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
- Proven track record of successfully bringing complex power electronic products to market.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, effective in a fully remote work environment.
