- Develop detailed process designs, including P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and equipment specifications.
- Utilize process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD) to model and optimize designs.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new process implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet safety, quality, and operational requirements.
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing processes to improve yield, reduce energy consumption, and minimize environmental impact.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and industry best practices in process design and engineering.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in process design and development within an industrial setting.
- Proficiency in process simulation and modeling software.
- Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
