Environmental Engineer - Water & Sanitation

Our client is seeking a dedicated Environmental Engineer specializing in Water & Sanitation to join their team, operating on a fully remote basis . This role is critical for developing and implementing sustainable solutions for water resource management, wastewater treatment, and sanitation infrastructure. You will work on projects that address pressing environmental challenges, contributing to public health and ecological well-being. The ideal candidate is passionate about environmental protection and possesses strong analytical and project management skills suited for a remote work environment.

• Design and optimize water and wastewater treatment processes and systems.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments (EIAs) and facilitate the permitting process.
• Develop water conservation and reuse strategies for municipal and industrial clients.
• Manage projects related to sanitation infrastructure development and solid waste management.
• Provide technical expertise on regulatory compliance and environmental best practices.
• Collaborate with clients, government agencies, and project teams using advanced remote communication tools.

• BEng or BSc in Environmental or Chemical Engineering; professional registration is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in environmental engineering , with a focus on water and sanitation projects.
• Strong knowledge of water/wastewater treatment technologies, environmental regulations, and EIA processes.
• Proficiency with relevant environmental modeling software and data analysis tools.
• Experience in project management, including budgeting and scheduling for environmental projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to manage projects remotely.
