Senior Solar Estimator willleadvariousestimatesforprojectsinthe
Renewable Energy Market Utility Scale Solar .Dutieswillinclude,butarenotlimitedto readingandinterpretingdocuments,subcontractor solicitation,analyzingdrawingandspecifications,reviewing,andassistingwithproposalsandotherdocumentationtopreparedetailedcostestimatesforvariousprojects.
The
Senior Solar Estimator playsakeyroleinthepre-constructionprocessbydevelopingaccurateandcompetitivecostestimatesthatsupportprojectfeasibilityandsuccessfulexecutionforourprospectivecommercialcustomersofallsizes.
Thispositioncollaboratescloselywithdesign,engineering,project management,procurement,operations,andexternalpartnerstoensureestimatesreflectconstructability,market conditions,andprojectrisktodeliverthemostefficientend-producttoourclientele.
- Developpreliminaryprojectscopesandconceptualdesignsthatalignwithcustomerandcompanyobjectives.
- Completepre-construction surveys,feasibility reviews,andotherpreliminaryestimatingresearchanddocumentation.
- Conductthoroughreviewsofplansandspecificationstoensurecompletescopecoverageandaccuratetakeoffs.
- Reviewandinterpretcontractspecifications,drawings,andprojectdocumentstoensureestimatesalignwithprojectrequirements.
- Performaccuratetakeoffsanddevelopcomprehensivepricingestimatesforequipment,labor,materials,subcontractors,andindirectcosts.
- Developgeneralconditions,allowances,exclusions,andcontingenciesaspartofprojectestimates.
- Obtainandapplyapplicablewagerates,includingprevailingwagerequirementsandlaborclassifications,basedonjurisdictionorcontractrequirements.
- Assistindevelopingpreliminaryconstructionduration'sandscheduletemplatestosupportpricingandproposaldevelopment.
- Preparesolicitationpackagesforvendorsandsubcontractors.
- Analyzesubcontractorandsupplierproposalsanddevelopcomparisonmatricesandestimatesummarysheets.
- Partner with Designand Operationsteamstoanalyzeestimates ,identify risks,assess constructability,andpursuevalueengineeringandcost-savingopportunitieswhilemaintainingqualityandcompliance.
