Our client is seeking a highly specialized Geotechnical Specialist to join their remote engineering division. This position is crucial for providing expert geotechnical analysis and consultancy services for diverse projects across different terrains and geological conditions. You will leverage advanced analytical tools and your deep expertise in soil mechanics and foundation engineering to advise project teams and ensure the stability and safety of civil structures.

- Conduct advanced geotechnical analyses, including slope stability, settlement, and seismic assessments.
- Provide expert interpretation of subsurface investigation data and laboratory test results.
- Develop comprehensive geotechnical design recommendations for foundations, earthworks, and retaining structures.
- Advise on the mitigation of complex geotechnical hazards and risks remotely.
- Review and critique geotechnical reports and designs submitted by external consultants.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers via virtual platforms to integrate geotechnical findings into overall project plans.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of specialized experience in geotechnical engineering analysis and design.
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in advanced geotechnical modeling software (e.g., Plaxis 3D, FLAC).
- Proven ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality technical documentation remotely.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
