About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior Process Engineer to lead critical special projects within their organization, operating remotely. This role is essential for driving forward complex, strategic initiatives that involve process redesign, technology implementation, and significant operational improvements. You will take ownership of projects from inception to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, develop solutions, and ensure successful implementation and integration.

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex chemical process projects.
- Conduct in-depth process analysis, feasibility studies, and economic evaluations for new initiatives.
- Develop detailed process designs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and control strategies.
- Manage project scope, budget, and timelines, ensuring successful delivery of project objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and equipment suppliers.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineering staff on assigned projects.
- Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering .
- 10+ years of progressive experience in process engineering, with a focus on project leadership.
- Extensive experience in process design, scale-up, and troubleshooting in industrial settings.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale capital projects or technology implementation.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and advanced data analysis techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, vital for a remote role in Randburg or surrounding areas.
