Senior Capital Projects Engineer

Anovion is an advanced materials industrial manufacturer, and a supplier to critical high-growth markets such as lithium-ion batteries, electric vehicles, energy storage systems and several other emerging applications in an increasingly electrified world. Anovion is seeking a Senior Capital Project Engineer for new graphite powder plants to be built in the US. This role includes collaboration with a team of contracted EPC engineers during the design, procurement, and construction phases of this 2-5 year project.

This position will be remote during that time.

Responsibilities
1. Assist VP of Engineering with management and oversight of contracted EPC firm who is designing and building the new Anovion manufacturing plants.
2. Play an active role in the development of the safety culture on the project, making safety a natural part of all work performed.
3. Identify and recommend opportunities for safety, quality, and process improvement.
4. Lead projects (including Kaizen) requiring inter-departmental inputs and coordination aimed at improving efficiencies and quality of the new plant.
5. Identify problems through trend analysis and facilitate independent or team driven problem-solving using root cause analysis.
6. Perform other tasks as assigned.
