Principal Mechanical Engineer; SRM - Thermal Analyst); Remote Fully Remote

• Design and integrate mechanical components for solid rocket motor systems, including cases, nozzles, insulation, and structural interfaces.
• Apply advanced engineering techniques to design, analyze, and test mechanically functioning equipment.

Qualifications:

• Requires Associate's Degree and 8-10 years' experience;
  Engineering degree required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD/CAE software; strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed thermal analysis of solid rocket motor components and develop predictive ablation and erosion models.
• Evaluate and recommend ablative materials and thermal protection system solutions, then present to peers and customers.
• Investigate equipment failures and collaborate with teams to resolve system malfunctions.
