Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Development

Our client is seeking a proactive and experienced Civil Engineer to drive infrastructure development initiatives from a remote capacity. This role will focus on the planning, design, and oversight of various public and private sector infrastructure projects, contributing to the enhancement of community services and economic growth. You will collaborate closely with project managers, consultants, and government bodies to ensure project success.

• Lead the conceptualization and detailed design of infrastructure projects, including roads, bulk services, and public spaces.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and environmental impact analyses for proposed developments.
• Develop project specifications, tender documents, and construction management plans.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders, including municipal authorities, utility providers, and contractors, to facilitate project execution.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and budget adherence, providing regular reports and recommendations.
• Ensure all designs and projects comply with relevant South African engineering standards and environmental legislation.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in infrastructure design and project management.
