Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Aerospace Systems Engineer to join their innovative team, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role is integral to the design, development, and integration of complex aerospace systems. You will lead critical projects, define system requirements, and ensure the successful execution of engineering tasks from concept to deployment. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned engineer to drive technological advancements in the aerospace sector, working collaboratively with a geographically distributed team on groundbreaking projects, leveraging cutting-edge tools and methodologies.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the architectural design and development of complex aerospace systems, ensuring requirements are met and integrated effectively.
- Define system specifications, interfaces, and performance criteria for new and existing aerospace platforms.
- Conduct rigorous system analysis, modeling, simulation, and testing to validate designs and performance.
- Oversee the integration of various subsystems, managing technical risks and ensuring seamless operation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in aerospace systems design, development, and integration.
- Proven expertise in systems engineering methodologies, including requirements management, V&V, and MBSE .
- Strong knowledge of aerospace vehicle dynamics, propulsion systems, and control theory.
- Experience with simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, STK) and project management software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex technical projects.
