Remote Aviation Safety Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Aviation Safety Manager to join their organization in a fully remote capacity. This pivotal role will involve developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety management systems (SMS) across all aviation operations. You will be instrumental in fostering a robust safety culture, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with all national and international aviation safety regulations.

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard identification, and safety audits across all aviation operations.
• Investigate aviation incidents and accidents, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs to all levels of personnel.
• Promote a positive safety culture throughout the organization and advise management on safety-related matters.

• Extensive experience in aviation safety management, preferably with a background in operations or regulation.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation safety regulations and standards (e.g., ICAO, EASA, SACAA).
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective Safety Management Systems (SMS).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
