Senior Industrial Mechanical Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Mechanical Engineer to join their remote team, focusing on optimizing manufacturing processes and industrial systems. This role is critical for enhancing operational efficiency, reducing costs, and improving safety across various industrial applications. You will be responsible for analyzing existing operations, identifying areas for improvement, and designing innovative solutions that can be implemented remotely or with on-site support as needed.

This position requires a proactive, analytical mindset and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting, contributing expertise to large-scale industrial projects.

• Analyze industrial plant operations and equipment to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement in mechanical systems
• Design, develop, and implement new mechanical systems, machinery, and process improvements to enhance productivity and safety.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for proposed engineering projects.
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, schematics, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with remote manufacturing teams, providing technical support and guidance for the implementation of new designs and upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industrial safety regulations and environmental standards.

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related industrial engineering field.
• Over 8 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, process optimization, and system design.
• Expertise in industrial machinery , automation, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools for process modeling.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective remote teamwork.
