Remote Senior Industrial Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity, supporting operations that include their facility in Stellenbosch . This role is key to driving efficiency and continuous improvement across our manufacturing and operational processes. You will be responsible for analyzing complex systems, developing innovative solutions, and implementing best practices to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

• Analyze, design, and optimize industrial processes to improve efficiency, throughput, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead cross-functional teams in implementing Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma projects remotely.

• Utilize data analytics and simulation tools to identify improvement opportunities and validate proposed solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and mentorship to engineering and operations staff across different locations.

• Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on process improvement.
• Expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Black Belt certification preferred).
• Proven experience with process simulation software, statistical analysis, and project management tools.
• Strong capability for independent work, excellent communication, and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
