Our client is seeking an accomplished Senior Geophysicist to join their globally-reaching, remote-first exploration team. This position is vital for the advanced processing and interpretation of seismic data to identify and delineate hydrocarbon resources. You will leverage state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies to analyze complex subsurface structures and provide critical insights for exploration strategies. Working from a remote location, you will collaborate closely with geologists, reservoir engineers, and other geoscientists to integrate seismic data with other subsurface information, driving key decisions regarding prospect evaluation and development planning.

- Perform advanced processing and quality control of 2D and 3D seismic data.
- Conduct detailed seismic interpretation to identify geological structures, strati graphic traps, and potential hydrocarbon reservoirs.
- Integrate seismic data with well logs, gravity, magnetic, and other geological data for comprehensive subsurface understanding.
- Utilize geophysical software to perform amplitude variation with offset (AVO) analysis, inversion, and attribute analysis.
- Collaborate effectively with exploration teams, management, and partners through virtual communication tools.
- Prepare high-quality reports, maps, and presentations detailing geophysical findings and recommendations.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Geophysics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in geophysical data processing and interpretation, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Expert proficiency with leading seismic interpretation and processing software suites (e.g., Petrel, Geo Depth, Opend Tect).
- Strong understanding of seismic wave propagation, acquisition techniques, and migration algorithms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
