Remote Mine Planning Engineer

• Develop short-term and long-term mine plans, including pit designs, production schedules, and resource utilization strategies.
• Create detailed 3D models of mine sites and infrastructure using specialized mine planning software.
• Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new mining projects or expansions.
• Optimize mining sequences to maximize resource recovery and minimize operational costs.
• Collaborate remotely with site operations, geology, and engineering teams to ensure plan feasibility and implementation.
• Ensure all mine plans comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in mine planning and design for open-pit or underground operations.
• Proficiency in industry-standard mine planning software (e.g., Deswik, Vulcan, Surpac, Whittle).
• Strong understanding of geological data, geotechnical principles, and mining economics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
