About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Chemical Process Engineer to join their forward-thinking organization on a fully remote basis. This role focuses on the strategic development and optimization of chemical processes, contributing to the design of new facilities and the improvement of existing ones. You will work independently and collaboratively with project teams across different geographical locations, driving innovation and ensuring technical excellence.

- Lead the conceptual and FEED design phases for new chemical process plants and modifications.
- Perform complex process simulations, including dynamic simulations and advanced control strategies.
- Conduct rigorous Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs) and HAZOP studies to ensure plant safety.
- Develop detailed process design packages, including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specifications, and control philosophies.
- Provide expert technical consultation to project teams, manufacturing, and R&D departments.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers in best practices for process design and engineering.
- Master's degree or PhD in Chemical Engineering .
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in chemical process design and engineering.
- Expert proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus , and other advanced process simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of chemical engineering principles, including reaction kinetics, thermodynamics, and transport phenomena.
- Experience in managing design scope, schedule, and budget for complex projects.
- Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work autonomously.
