Our client, a prominent aviation services group, is seeking a data-driven and analytical Remote Aircraft Systems Analyst . This role involves examining the performance and reliability of various aircraft systems, utilizing flight data and maintenance records. You will identify trends, diagnose issues, and recommend improvements to enhance system reliability, safety, and operational efficiency, all while working remotely. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical mind to contribute to maintaining the integrity of aircraft systems globally.
Key Responsibilities- Collect, process, and analyze aircraft systems data (e.g., engine performance, avionics, hydraulic systems) from flight data recorders and maintenance logs.
- Identify patterns, anomalies, and potential failure modes within aircraft systems to predict and prevent issues.
- Develop and maintain models for system performance and reliability, utilizing statistical methods and software tools.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to provide insights and recommendations for system improvements and troubleshooting.
- Prepare detailed reports and visualizations summarizing system performance, reliability trends, and areas for optimization.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy, maintaining databases and supporting documentation for system analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in aircraft systems analysis, data analysis, or reliability engineering.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems, their components, and operational principles.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB) and statistical software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, suitable for a remote work environment.
- Experience with flight data analysis and maintenance record systems is highly advantageous.
