Position: Senior Geomatics Project Leader — Large-Scale (Remote)
The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Geomatics team.

To support our growing portfolio of large-scale construction and transmission-related projects, we're expanding our Geomatics team with this senior leadership position, responsible for the successful delivery of multi-million dollar projects from planning through closeout.

In this role, you'll take ownership of project execution — managing budgets, schedules, and change orders while building strong relationships with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Experience with transmission line projects is considered a strong asset.

This role can be based in Moncton, NB;
Edmonton, AB; hybrid; or remote — we will consider candidates in all other locations. The position requires travel, with all travel expenses covered, and offers a salary of $150,000 - $175,000 CAD, commensurate with experience.

What You'll Do

Lead and manage large, multi-million dollar construction projects from initiation through closeout
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and resource plans
Monitor project costs, manage change orders, and implement effective cost control measures
Coordinate with internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals
Identify and mitigate project risks, making timely and sound decisions to keep projects on track
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards
Support and mentor project team members
Travel to project sites and client locations as required

Requirements

What We're Looking For

5+ years of project management experience
Demonstrated experience managing large construction projects, including multi-million dollar contracts
Transmission line experience is an asset
Proven success delivering projects on time and within budget
Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, and change order management
Strong decision-making abilities
P.Eng or PLS designation is an asset, but not required
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Willingness to travel as required, with all travel expenses covered
