About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned Electrical Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure development to join their team on a fully remote basis. This role is instrumental in the planning, design, and execution of large-scale electrical infrastructure projects, including power generation, transmission, and distribution systems. You will play a key part in shaping the future of energy infrastructure, working on projects that impact communities and industries.

This is an exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking engineer who can lead complex initiatives and collaborate effectively with diverse teams from a remote location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of high-voltage electrical infrastructure, including substations and transmission lines.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, load forecasting, and power system planning for new developments.
  • Prepare detailed engineering specifications, drawings, and cost estimates for infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee the procurement, construction, and commissioning of electrical infrastructure components.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with government bodies, utility companies, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on power systems or infrastructure.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and management of electrical infrastructure projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of high-voltage equipment, power system protection, and grid integration.
  • Proficiency in power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP) and project management tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale projects from conception to completion.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, suitable for remote management.
