Our client is seeking a proactive and skilled Energy Systems Engineer to join their team based in George, Western Cape . This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing energy systems for industrial and commercial clients, with a focus on efficiency and sustainability. You will work on cutting-edge projects that integrate various energy sources and technologies to meet client needs. The position offers a blend of on-site client engagement and office-based technical work, providing a dynamic work environment within the growing renewable energy hub of the Western Cape.
Key Responsibilities- Design and engineer integrated energy systems , including generation, storage, and distribution solutions.
- Perform energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings for clients.
- Develop technical specifications, schematics, and project plans for energy system installations.
- Oversee the installation and commissioning of energy systems, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with sales and project management teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in energy technologies and market trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy systems design and project implementation.
- Strong understanding of power systems, renewable energy integration (solar, battery storage), and energy efficiency principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software and energy modeling tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
