What Your Job Will Be Like:You will work closely with multi-disciplinary staff and teams to include design engineers, software engineers, and product development engineers. As part of the Design Engineering initiatives, you will work closely with managers, other project leads/engineers, teams and customers to help with planning, requirements, integration and communications. At any given time, you may be asked to help update development backlogs, plan for upcoming releases, support strategic initiatives and work to coordinate and integrate tasks across a team to meet project deliverables.
Onany given day you may be called to:
Recognized Creo Parametric Subject Matter Expert (SME), offering expert guidance on software installation, configuration, and end-user support. Chief developer and lead expert in maintenance of standardized Creo Parametric templates ensuring project consistency and efficiency.
New Product Implementation (NPI) expert, actively leading initiatives to identify and implement performance enhancements to DFMPro, Granta, Creo Parametric, Windchill PDMLink, MathCAD, and related tools. Coordinate with project leads and technical staff in the activities needed to develop, test, and validate new products and processes (e.g., RPP
302, S122, S041).
Integrator responsible for ensuring DE compliance to current SNL and NSE Design Engineering Processes and Requirements.
Customer mentor on best practices and advanced functionalities within Creo and Windchill PDMLink, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
* Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
Cross-Departmental and Cross-Site Collaboration Point of Contact (POC) responsible for partnering with teams from Sandia California, NSE, Design & Development Solutions, Mission Computing Services, and CAD Support to standardize and enhance Creo Parametric and PDMLink configurations.
Salary Range:$87,400 - $168,800
* Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
Qualifications We Require:Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
A higher-level degree (MS, PhD) in relevant discipline may also be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree must be directly related experience that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job.
