The Lab IT Solution Engineer reports directly to the Chief Services Officer and is focused on supporting the Sales organization. The Lab IT Solution Engineer serves as a technical and solutions-focused partner within JTG Consulting Group’s sales process, helping prospective and existing clients translate laboratory, technology, and operational needs into well-defined solutions.

The role applies laboratory IT expertise, problem-solving, and strong communication skills to support client discovery, scoping, estimating, proposal and Statement of Work (SOW) development, and the transition of awarded work to Services. Working collaboratively with Sales, Services, and JTG subject matter experts, the Lab IT Solution Engineer helps coordinate internal communication as well as gather and document requirements.

The Lab IT Solution Engineer owns the development and maintenance of accurate client quotes based on the scope, assumptions, resource requirements, pricing guidance, and delivery inputs validated by the appropriate Sales and Services stakeholders.
