What Your Job Will Be Like:

We are seeking an Engineering and Operations Systems Engineer. In this role, you will apply operational systems engineering to support the design, integration, and delivery of cable and interconnect solutions. You will help translate customer needs into clear requirements, support cable assembly design and documentation, coordinate interfaces across mechanical/electrical stakeholders, and ensure designs are verifiable and ready for build, test, and deployment.

You’ll track technical progress, support verification/validation (V&V) planning and evidence collection, and elevate issues that require additional technical depth or program leadership.

On any given day, you may be called upon to:

Support design and integration of cable/interconnect assemblies (connectors, pinouts, signal definitions, timing/voltage constraints, mass/fit, labeling)

Develop, document, and maintain component/subsystem requirements and interface definitions for cable‑related hardware

Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams to ensure designs are buildable, testable, and aligned to customer expectations

Define and document acceptance criteria and verification approaches; support V&V by collecting objective evidence for deliverables

Track technical risks, interfaces, and issues; develop mitigation and contingency plans with stakeholders

Participate in technical reviews and readiness activities; ensure required documentation is complete through the lifecycle

Support logistics/deployment planning and preparation of user or technician training materials as needed

Due to the nature of the work, the selected applicant must be able to work onsite.
