Senior Electrical Design Engineer - Remote

Our client is seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their expanding team, working entirely remotely. This role is pivotal in conceptualizing and developing advanced electrical designs for a variety of cutting-edge projects. You will leverage your expertise to create detailed schematics, specifications, and technical documentation from the comfort of your home office, contributing to projects across different sectors.

• Lead the electrical design process for new projects, from concept to detailed design, ensuring innovation and efficiency.
• Develop comprehensive electrical schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams using CAD software.
• Perform electrical load calculations, system sizing, and component selection.
• Write detailed technical specifications and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Collaborate effectively with remote project managers, clients, and other engineering disciplines via virtual communication tools.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant national and international electrical codes and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 8+ years of experience in electrical design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Expertise in using AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, or similar design software.
• Solid understanding of power distribution, lighting design, and low-voltage systems.
• Excellent remote collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
