Process Engineer - Industrial Focus

Our client is seeking a skilled Process Engineer with a strong focus on industrial applications to join their team in Mossel Bay. This hybrid position combines essential on-site presence for process observation and team collaboration with the flexibility of remote work for analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high quality standards.

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality.
• Design and implement new process layouts, equipment modifications, and operational procedures.
• Utilize Lean Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including P&IDs and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth operations and problem resolution.
• Monitor process performance, collect data, and generate reports on key metrics and recommendations.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or a related industrial role.
• Demonstrated experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and equipment.
