Senior Drilling Fluids Engineer

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Drilling Fluids Engineer to join their remote operations team. In this fully remote role, you will provide expert technical support and oversight for drilling fluid systems across various projects. Your responsibilities will include designing drilling fluid programs, troubleshooting fluid-related issues, managing inventory, and ensuring cost-effective and efficient fluid operations. This position is essential for maintaining wellbore stability and optimizing drilling performance.

• Design and implement drilling fluid programs tailored to specific well objectives and geological conditions.
• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for drilling fluid systems and operations.
• Analyze fluid samples and performance data, recommending adjustments to maintain optimal properties.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations related to drilling fluid handling and disposal.
• Manage fluid inventory, logistics, and vendor relationships.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training on best practices in drilling fluid technology.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience as a Drilling Fluids Engineer in the Oil & Gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of drilling fluid systems, chemistry, and additives.
• Experience with solids control equipment and techniques.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
