About the Role
Our client is seeking a forward-thinking Remote Operations Optimization Engineer to drive improvements in their manufacturing and operational processes, supporting their Benoni
-based activities from a distance. This fully remote role requires a deep understanding of operational systems, process analysis, and efficiency enhancement techniques. You will leverage data analytics and engineering expertise to identify opportunities for optimization, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced engineer who excels in remote collaboration and is passionate about delivering impactful operational solutions.
- Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for process optimization .
- Develop and implement strategies for waste reduction, cost savings, and improved workflow efficiency.
- Utilize simulation software and analytical tools to model and test process improvements before implementation.
- Collaborate closely with on-site operational teams via virtual communication channels to ensure successful project execution.
- Create and maintain detailed process documentation, including SOPs and best practice guides.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on the impact of implemented changes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations optimization , process improvement, or industrial engineering.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R).
- Experience with simulation software and lean manufacturing principles.
- Excellent remote communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects with minimal supervision.
