Structural Engineer - High-Rise Buildings

Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is seeking a talented Structural Engineer to contribute to the design of innovative high-rise buildings in Pretoria . You will be involved in all stages of the structural design process, from conceptualization and analysis to detailed design and construction support. • Perform structural analysis and design for multi-story buildings using state-of-the-art software.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations for building components.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and other design consultants to integrate structural systems effectively.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Review shop drawings and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) from construction teams.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in structural engineering, materials, and building technologies.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA or eligibility to obtain it.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the structural design of buildings, with a focus on high-rise structures.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP
  2000, or SAFE.
• Strong knowledge of concrete, steel, and composite structural systems.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.
