Our client is seeking a highly motivated Remote Process Engineer with a passion for continuous improvement to join their innovative team. In this role, you will analyze existing chemical processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop strategies to enhance performance, reduce costs, and improve sustainability across various global operations. You will leverage data analysis, simulation tools, and your engineering expertise to drive impactful changes.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to operational excellence from anywhere, working collaboratively with plant personnel and management teams to implement best practices and foster a culture of ongoing enhancement in the chemical industry.
- Analyze process data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement process improvements focused on yield, throughput, energy efficiency, and waste reduction.
- Utilize process simulation and modeling tools to test and validate improvement strategies.
- Collaborate with site operations and engineering teams to ensure successful implementation of improvements.
- Develop standard operating procedures and training materials for new processes or modifications.
- Track and report on the impact of implemented improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and influence stakeholders.
