About the Role
Our client is actively seeking an experienced Senior Chemical Process Engineer to join their fully remote, collaborative team. This senior position requires a leader capable of overseeing complex process design, optimization, and implementation projects from conception through to execution. You will be a key technical advisor, providing expertise on chemical engineering principles, safety standards, and best practices to project teams across various locations.

- Lead the design and development of intricate chemical processes, ensuring optimal performance and compliance.
- Oversee process safety management (PSM) activities, including hazard identification and risk assessment.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and project teams.
- Manage process engineering aspects of capital projects, from conceptual design to commissioning.
- Conduct rigorous technical reviews of process designs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications.
- Optimize existing plant operations for increased efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Master's degree or higher in Chemical Engineering .
- 10+ years of experience in process engineering, with a proven track record in managing complex projects.
- Extensive knowledge of process simulation, P&t, and HAZOP studies.
- Deep understanding of chemical plant operations, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proven ability to lead and contribute effectively in a remote work environment, utilizing virtual collaboration tools proficiently.
