Senior Remote Mechanical Design Engineer

Our client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Remote Mechanical Design Engineer to join their engineering team and contribute to cutting-edge projects from anywhere. • Lead the mechanical design process for complex projects, from initial concept through to production readiness.
• Develop detailed 3D CAD models, 2D manufacturing drawings, and comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Perform advanced engineering calculations, including stress analysis , thermal analysis, and vibration analysis.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, in a virtual environment.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes to ensure design feasibility, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee prototype testing and validation, analyze results, and implement necessary design revisions.

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design engineering.
• Expertise in CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, CATIA) and FEA/CFD simulation tools.
• Strong understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior engineers in a remote capacity.
