Our client is seeking a dynamic and organized Industrial Engineer with strong Project Management skills to join their team in Sandton . This hybrid role offers the opportunity to lead and manage key engineering projects from conception to completion, focusing on process improvements, operational efficiencies, and new system implementations. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical engineering knowledge and proven project leadership capabilities, thriving in a collaborative environment that balances remote work with necessary on-site engagement.
- Lead and manage assigned engineering projects, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, including resource allocation, risk assessment, and budget management.
- Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that all projects align with engineering best practices and company standards.
- Prepare and present project status reports to management and stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in Industrial Engineering , with at least 2 years directly involved in project management .
- Proven experience managing engineering projects, preferably in process improvement or operational efficiency initiatives.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in project management software tools.
