About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Remote Chemical Process Optimization Engineer to join their global team, working remotely. This position is focused on enhancing the efficiency, sustainability, and profitability of our client's chemical manufacturing processes worldwide. You will analyze operational data, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement innovative solutions through virtual collaboration. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with deep expertise in chemical engineering principles, advanced data analysis, and a proven ability to drive significant process improvements from a remote location.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze complex process data to identify and quantify opportunities for optimization in yield, energy consumption, and throughput.
- Develop and implement advanced process control strategies and optimization models.
- Utilize process simulation and modeling tools to test and validate optimization scenarios.
- Collaborate virtually with site engineers and operations teams to implement and monitor process improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective actions.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies in process optimization and digital transformation.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in chemical process engineering, with a strong focus on optimization.
- Expertise in advanced process control, statistical analysis, and data science techniques.
- Proficiency with simulation software and data analysis platforms (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB).
- Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in industrial processes .
- Excellent skills in virtual communication and project management in a remote setting.
