Mine Planning Engineer - Innovative Projects

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive mine plans , including open-pit or underground designs, production schedules, and resource utilization strategies.
• Utilize advanced mine planning software (e.g., Deswik, Vulcan, Surpac) for detailed geological modeling, reserve estimation, and optimization.
• Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new projects and expansions, assessing technical viability and financial returns.
• Collaborate with geological, operations, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of mine plans.
• Monitor mine performance against plans, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to optimize operations and mitigate risks.

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in mine planning and design.
• Proficiency with industry-standard mine planning and design software suites.
• Strong understanding of mining methods, equipment capabilities, and geological principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
