Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Electrical Engineer with a focus on controls systems to join their growing team in Tembisa . This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer looking to gain hands‑on experience in designing, programming, and implementing automated control solutions for industrial processes. You will work closely with senior engineers to develop innovative systems that enhance efficiency and productivity.

- Assist in the design and development of control system architectures , including PLC, HMI, and SCADA integration.
- Program and configure PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and HMIs for various industrial applications.
- Perform system testing , troubleshooting, and commissioning of control systems on-site and remotely.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including wiring diagrams, functional specifications, and user manuals.
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure seamless integration of control solutions.
- Support senior engineers in analyzing system performance and identifying areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
- Solid understanding of control theory and automation principles.
- Familiarity with PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Structured Text) and HMI software.
- Basic knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
