Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join their innovative engineering team in a fully remote capacity. This role is critical for designing, planning, and overseeing a wide range of civil engineering projects, from infrastructure development to land development. You will leverage your extensive technical expertise to deliver robust, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions, collaborating virtually with clients, project managers, and junior engineers.
The ideal candidate thrives in a remote setting, possesses exceptional analytical skills, and is committed to advancing the field through cutting-edge design and project execution.
- Lead the design and development of complex civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
- Perform detailed engineering calculations, analysis, and simulations using specialized software.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation for client and regulatory submissions.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and technical staff in a virtual team environment.
- Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and other consultants.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and environmental regulations.
- Master's degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design and project management.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is required.
- Expertise in civil design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects remotely and lead virtual teams effectively.
