Senior Process Engineer

Our client is actively seeking a highly competent Senior Process Engineer to contribute to their downstream operations, with potential for remote work flexibility. This role focuses on designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex chemical processes within the Oil & Gas industry. • Develop process designs, P&IDs, and equipment specifications for new projects and plant modifications.
• Conduct process simulations and modeling to optimize performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Perform process hazard analyses (PHAs) such as HAZOP studies to ensure safe operations.
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting operational issues and implementing corrective actions.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend their implementation to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact.

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the Oil & Gas , petrochemical, or chemical industries.
• Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, PRO/II) and P&t.
• Thorough understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and mass transfer principles.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
