Remote Operations Process Engineer

Our client is seeking a proactive and results-oriented Remote Operations Process Engineer to drive efficiency improvements within their industrial operations. This role is pivotal in analyzing, designing, and optimizing processes from a distance, focusing on enhancing productivity, reducing waste, and implementing best practices across various facilities. You will work collaboratively with on-site teams to achieve operational excellence without being physically located in Soweto .

• Conduct thorough remote assessments of existing operational processes, identifying key areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement strategic process improvement plans utilizing lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Create detailed process maps, simulations, and documentation to guide implementation by on-site teams.
• Facilitate virtual collaboration sessions with production staff, management, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful change adoption.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of implemented changes and identify further opportunities.
• Research and recommend new technologies and methodologies to enhance operational performance in a remote capacity.

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, with a proven track record in operational improvement.
• Strong knowledge of lean principles , statistical process control, and root cause analysis techniques.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and virtual collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in process simulation software and data analysis tools.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects effectively in a remote environment.
