Structural Project Engineer

Skarda and Associates, Inc. is a Baltimore, Maryland based structural engineering firm that has been providing a wide array of structural design and consulting engineering services to its clients for more than 50 years. The firm specializes in the design, review, and analysis of both new and existing structures. Skarda and Associates works with architects, building designers, general contractors, corporations, and individual property owners.

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Structural Project Engineer. The Structural Project Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple projects, including coordinating project schedules, budgets, and resources. The role is located in Baltimore, but some work from home is acceptable. The Structural Project Engineer will work closely with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure project objectives are met.

The position requires a strong attention to detail and an ability to think strategically about complex design and engineering challenges.

• Expertise in Masonry, Structural Engineering, and Structural Analysis
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 5-10 years of structural engineering experience
• Active P.E. License
• Experience in Project Management, preferably in a consulting environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Salary Range: $90,000-$125,000

Candidates should also have a proven track record of managing projects to completion on-time and within budget while maintaining a high level of quality.
