Electrical Engineer - Project Management

Our client is seeking a dynamic Electrical Engineer with strong project management capabilities to join their team in Mahikeng. This role is essential for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage cross-functional teams, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure technical feasibility and compliance.

• Lead the end-to-end management of electrical engineering projects, from initiation to closure.
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation strategies.
• Coordinate with internal teams (design, procurement, construction) and external vendors and clients.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Prepare regular project status reports and conduct performance reviews of project deliverables.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in project management or project coordination.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems design, installation, and commissioning.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and standard engineering tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
