About the Role
Our client is actively recruiting for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role is central to designing, implementing, and optimizing automated control systems for industrial applications. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand requirements, develop innovative control solutions, and ensure seamless integration of electrical and automation technologies. Key Responsibilities- Design and develop PLC/DCS based control systems, including logic, HMI, and SCADA interfaces.
- Specify and select electrical control components, sensors, and actuators.
- Program and commission automation systems for various industrial processes.
- Conduct system troubleshooting and provide remote support to clients and field technicians.
- Collaborate with mechanical and process engineers to ensure integrated system performance.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including electrical schematics, P&IDs, and user manuals.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial automation and control systems engineering.
- Proficiency with PLC programming software (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell RSLogix).
- Experience with HMI/SCADA software development (e.g., Factory Talk View, WinCC).
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
