Remote Senior Metallurgist

Our client is looking for an accomplished Senior Metallurgist to join their globally distributed technical team, operating remotely and supporting mineral processing operations worldwide. This role is vital for enhancing recovery rates, optimizing metallurgical processes, and troubleshooting complex processing challenges. You will work with a diverse range of ore bodies and processing plants, applying your extensive knowledge to drive efficiency and value.

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot mineral processing circuits (e.g., comminution, flotation, leaching).

• Master's or PhD in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mineral processing and metallurgy, with a strong track record of success.
• Expertise in various commodities such as base metals, precious metals, or industrial minerals.
• Proficiency in metallurgical simulation software (e.g., METSIM, JKSimMet).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, essential for remote collaboration.
