- Develop and refine mine plans, schedules, and budgets for open-pit and underground operations.
- Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new mining projects and expansions.
- Implement and monitor best practices in mine design, safety protocols, and environmental management.
- Utilize advanced mine planning software (e.g., Deswik, Mine2-4D) for 3D modeling and optimization.
- Provide technical support and guidance to site-based engineering teams, fostering collaboration across distances.
- Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction in mining operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in mine planning and operations, with a strong understanding of various mining methods.
- Proficiency in industry-standard mine planning and design software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and effectively in a remote team environment.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and safety standards in the mining industry.
